Welcome!

With 24 countries travelled, many as a tourist in a wheelchair, I am excited to share exciting travel news, tips and tricks that will take you from armchair wanna be traveller to a well travelled real adventurer - barrier free!

To get started, here are a few tips to begin your adventure:
1) Get over the chair (or the accessiblity issue) - dream as if there are no barriers before you.
2) Have an open mind - what you think travel is about, may actually be limiting your possibilities.  Allow room for new ideas.
3) Talk to people who travel & research your destination- get feedback from your peers about the places they've been and experiences they've had.  Visit on-line resources such as tourism boards for the cities you'd like to visit.
4) Consult with me - an accessible travel expert!
