After my stay in Las Vegas I wanted to continue sharing things that I learned to make your experience there as enjoyable as possible.
The Monorail system that run the full length of the strip and run Mondays 7am-12 midgnight, Tuesdays - Thursday from 7am - 2am and Friday-Sunday from 7am-3am.
I was there for business the first few days of my stay and thought that I would not benifit from the getting the week long package, so instead bought a two day pass for the later part of the week.
After walking the length of the strip several times during the evenings off from the convention, quickly wished I had bought the week long pass.
It runs every 6-9 minutes depending on the time of day, can quickly get you from one end of the strip to the other, is clean and the maps and automated announcer while on the train keeps you from missing your stops.
It very quickly adds up in value when you have the chance to get out of the heat, sit down for a second and not have to walk the whole distance back from where you started from.
I would recommend this as an add on option to anyone staying in Las Vegas and is something you can prepay for with your travel agent, to put your mind at easy when staying on the strip.
