Experience at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa

After so many trips of exploration, adventure and staying with the locals, my boyfriend and I wanted to take a trip to just relax and rejuvenate. We decided on the Grand Palladium Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. When we arrived we were greeted with a local drink and checked into the hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the employees were very attentive and friendly.

We checked into our room and were surprised to see that we were in a loft overlooking the palm trees and gardens. The loft was very big, clean and modern. There was tea and coffee in the room and a mini bar with drinks and snacks.

We ventured out to the beach and were met with pure white sand and a gorgeous clear blue ocean. The beach at Grand Palladium is very long and there are plenty of palapas on the beach with many loungers, that are quite comfortable.

Over the next 10 days we explored the resort and did a 2 day excursion. The Grand Palladium grounds have 4 hotels. The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa, the Grand Palladium Bavaro, Grand Palladium Palace Resort & Spa and the TRS Turquesa which is the adults only, luxury hotel.

The grounds are very large but there are shuttles quite frequently that will take you anywhere you want to go.

One of my favourite restaurants was Portofino, the pasta and risotto were amazing. We ended up dining there 3 nights because the food was so delicious.  Another one of my favourite restaurants was the Sumptuori restaurant that featured Japanese food that was cooked right in front of you. The rice and chicken was flavourful and the portions were huge. Kusko is also worth a try, it is a mix of Japanese and Peruvian food. I tried dishes here that I never would have if I knew what was in them but they were delicious and I would eat them again!

The resorts also have so many pools that they were never too full and you could always get a seat and a drink at the pool bar.

We spent 2 days at the spa, one just using the amenities and one getting a full body scrub and couples massage. This spa is so beautiful and so relaxing. I really enjoyed the mud bath section that was available. (See my business facebook page for videos and information!)

I was very impressed with the service, grounds and variety at the Grand Palladium. So much so that I am booking my next adventure to Mexico and will be staying at the Grand Palladium chain there!

If you are thinking about booking a Grand Palladium hotel I would highly recommend them. If you have any questions, just send me to a message!
