Early June 2015 I experienced Disneyland with my dad for the first time. Truly a special trip - as we travelled with our fellow Flight Centre Associates to Anaheim on Allegiant Air to experience Disneyland Parks, Universal Studios, the beautiful beaches of OC and more than we could imagine in such a short time.

We visited some 'good neighbor hotels' located within a couple miles of the parks. A great option as there are shuttles available to the Park entrance and gives you some time to experience Anaheim outside Disney. Of course, the 3 Disneyland Resort hotel options are fabulous and you're right in the action!

A character breakfast is a must. Nothing like eating Mickey shaped pancakes while getting a big hug from a large plush Disney friend.

Anaheim has great shopping at the Outlets at Orange and tasty treats can be found at the Anaheim Packing District (formerly a Sunkist packing house).

OC Beaches are not too far away with 42 miles of coastline to relax in the warm south Cali sun!

We visited Knotts Berry Farm (which has a neat history rooted in a road side fruite stand) and Medieval Times show and dinner. My favourite (and a great way to end the trip) was at Universal Studios. The rides will appeal to an older kid demographic, but eventually we're all going to be big kids at heart.
